Our mission is to provide opportunities for building men spiritually in Christian Fellowship, Discipleship and Missional Outreach at Covenant.
Monday Morning Breakfast - All men of the church are invited to join us for breakfast on Mondays at 8 am in the Fellowship Hall. It is a wonderful way to start your week!
Breakfast with the Boys - This quarterly breakfast series meets at 8 am. This is an opportunity for food, fellowship and fun. Each session will include 2 talks: 1) a member of CUMC sharing his story on how God has been working in his life and 2) a member giving a talk on a life application topic. We will close with small group discussions. Cost is $5 (prepay required).
August 28 from 8-11 am, Fellowship Hall
Join us for pancakes, a meat of some sort, coffee and juice. Cost is $5. Come eat some grub and fellowship with men of Covenant. Discipleship Opportunities
Walk to Emmaus
CUMC has had several members attend this Methodist leadership retreat divided into men's and women's walks. The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the local church through the development of Christian disciples and leaders. The program's approach seriously considers the model of Christ's servanthood and encourages Christ's disciples to act in ways appropriate to being "a servant of all". There are 3 area camps for Dothan, AL: Chattahoochee (FL), Esto (Hartford) and Blue Lake (Andalusia).
Wellspring Group
This retreat is a transformational journey into true masculinity. It provides a context for living that can help you make sense out of the mixed messages of your life. Come join us and begin or deepen your transformational journey into true masculinity by discovering the energy and strength of living from your heart, the wellspring of life. CUMC is proud to have a member serve on the Wellspring team.
The Men's Ministry is open to all men in the church! To contact us, email us at men@covenantdothan.org.
