Life can bring many ups and downs! There are times when the unexpected erupts, and our plans are abruptly changed. We all cope differently with our difficulties. Here are a few observations when you are disappointed:
1. Disappointments are only delays! Who says every setback must be final?
2. Disappointments are instructional. Valuable lessons freely flow our way when plans are postponed.
3. Disappointments are preventives. When a setback occurs, it’s good to take a brief moment to analyze the reason for it.
4. Disappointments are motivators. It shakes our lives until there is aroused in us an eager desire to spring out of our apathy.
Please remember: Some of our greatest moments can be times when you’re forced out of that rut because of a turn of events. When you are forced to adjust your plans, begin to look to God for a fresh idea and He will show you a better day!
