Peru Mission Trip - Kayla Nolan Cross Post

Homeless Medical Clinic

Covenant is helping to provide medical care to the homeless every second Thursday of the month in downtown Dothan, 5-7pm. Physicians and other medical personnel can serve on a rotating basis. If you can serve on occasion, contact Rev. Mike Hoppe or Dr. Jack Jackson at drj@sw.rr.com

Single Mom Needs a Used Car

A single mom in Dothan needs a car to get to and from work. She is a close friend of Covenant Church, and her car recently became inoperable. If someone has an old car that they are willing to write-off as a donation to the church, please contact Rev. Hoppe right away, and we’ll put the donor in touch with her.

Launching new Helping Hands Mission!

Kenya Mission Info Meeting

Our church will send a mission team to Kenya, June 29-July 14 to work in an orphanage. We will have an info meeting on Sunday Oct 2 at 3:30pm to give a short presentation and answer all questions. Contact Rev. Hoppe for more info.

Psychological First Aid

The Red Cross will be offering Psychological First Aid at Greystone UMC on Friday, September 23, 8am-noon. The cost is free. It will be a very practical course dealing with helping people emotionally during a crisis such as a natural disaster. If anyone wants more information, they may contact the Greystone missions coordinator, Bob Willis, at rwillis@troy.edu
