NEW WORSHIP TIMES
Begins Sunday, January 11
Due to the renovation of our present sanctuary for our children's expansion beginning January 5, our new times for worship will begin Sunday, January 11 in the Christian Life Center.
8:30 am- Traditional Service
9:30 am- Covenant Community
Surge, Construction Zone, Students, and Adult Studies
10:30 am- Contemporary Service
6:00 pm- Sunday @ 6 (Fellowship Hall)
The SPR committee is pleased to announce the following
staff transitions:
Karla Jackson, Director of Finance- Karla will manage all financial aspects of the church. She will coordinate budget development and provide oversight to Covenant's ongoing income and expenses. She will also assist with stewardship campaigns and long-range plans for giving.
Pat Heldman, Director of Operations- Pat will direct all the operations of the church to ensure the safety, security and efficiency of our campus. He will coordinate the use of the facilities, oversee the maintenance of the buildings, grounds and equipment. Pat will also provide oversight of church expenses to ensure the best possible use of church funds and resources.
David Kies, Director of Recreation Ministry- Covenant United Methodist Church is pleased to announce David Kies as the new Director of Recreation Ministry. David has a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. David grew up in this church; his parents are Robert and Linda Kies. He will begin his ministry the beginning of January. Please welcome David when you see him!
As our church continues to grow and our campus expands, these transitions will enable us to effectively and efficiently serve our congregation and our community.

Stewardship Reminder
Thank you to everyone who turned in an Estimate of Giving card. If you have not turned yours in, please do so as soon as possible so we can begin to plan our ministry budget for 2009. Your commitment allows us to continue reaching more and more people for Christ. Your faithfulness to this church is greatly appreciated. Cards are available in the attendance pads as well as various locations throughout the church. You may also contact Karla Jackson, at the church office for a card.
