Home Improvement Ministry (H.I.M.)

The mission is composed of approximately 30 Covenant men and women who assist in the construction of wheelchair ramps for the elderly as well as remodel or repair homes for the needy or non-profit organizations in the Wiregrass area. This mission takes on approximately one major project every six weeks in addition to other smaller projects throughout the year.

Testimonies from church members:

"I prayed that God would direct me in how I might use my talents to His glory and have been excited and humbled during recent projects we have been involved in. God uses the members of H.I.M. and me to help others in need, but what I realized in the process is that He is helping ME by teaching me patience, humility, kindness, caring and love. There are so many people right aroung the corner who need help and who may believe in God but are waiting to be shown the love of Jesus Christ first hand. I feel like this is a perfect opportunity to show those people that God cares about them and loves them. I am thankful to be a part of a ministry that shows people that He is alive in all of us and through us maybe even be a part of changing lives eternally." --Mark Colby

"Each time I work on a HIM project I am more impressed with how often God works through human hands. The fellowship with other Christian brothers and sisters is so very valuable. The ability to reach out to others who are truly in need always does more for me than I ever do for them." --Trip Todd
