Covenant UMC offers Mother's Morning Out, Preschool & Full-time Daycare.

Our mission at Covenant is to teach each child to: Know God, Love God, Serve God

Our goal is to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment that encourages each child to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally. Age appropriate learning experiences are provided to allow each child to progress at his/her own pace and to experience success through hands-on activities.

Mother's Morning Out (MMO)

MMO operates Monday thru Thursday 8:30 am-12:30 pm, year round

Ages Accepted: 12 months – 2 years old (3 & 4 year olds are eligible to attend MMO during the summer as well)

Preschool

Preschool operates Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 am-12:30 pm (August-May)

Ages Accepted: 3 & 4 year olds

Children entering 3P must be 3 on or before September 1
Children entering 4P must be 4 on or before September 1

Children must be fully toilet trained in order to be eligible for Preschool.

Enrollment Options & Pricing for MMO & Preschool

2 days a week- Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday- $126.00 per month

4 days a week- Monday-Thursday- $220.00 per month (required for 3P & 4P)

$40.00 Registration Fee for summer (June & July)

$95.00 Registration Fee for the school year (August-May)

Daycare

Full-time daycare operates Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:30 pm

Ages accepted: 6 weeks- 5 years old (pre-kindergarten)

$200.00 yearly Registration Fee

Pricing: $100.00 per week

*A 15% discount is offered for families with multiple children

Registration fees may be pro-rated, depending upon when the child enters the program.

Chapel

Chapel services are presented bi-weekly to children ages 2-5 (August-May)

Curriculum

Children 18 months-3 years old are taught using the WEE Learn curriculum (Weekday Early Education). The Wee Learn program is designed to provide age-appropriate opportunities for children to learn about God, the Bible, the church, self, family, others and the natural world.

Children in our 4 year old classroom are taught using the Scott Foresman Reading Street curriculum. Reading Street is a reading instruction program for Grades PreK-6. It is designed to help teachers build strong readers through scientifically research-based instruction, motivating and engaging literature, and reliable teaching tools. Reading Street priorities skill instruction at each grade level, so teachers can focus on the right skill, at the right time, and for every student. Reading Street is currently used in our local public school systems (Dothan City & Houston County). A Beka Book curriculum is used daily in 4P for Bible time.

Children in our 3P and 4P classes also participate in Enrichment classes. Enrichment classes are offered twice each week and include Chapel, Art, Music and Creative Movement.

Lunch

At Covenant Preschool & Childcare, children are given the option of bringing lunch from home or ordering from our catered lunch program. Lunch payments can be included with tuition and prices are as follows:

1 day per week: $14.00/month

2 days per week: $28.00/month

3 days per week: $42.00/month

4 days per week: $56.00/month

5 days per week: $70.00/month

Lunch Menu

Monday: Chick-fil-A- chicken nuggets, a roll & fruit

Tuesday: Arby's- hot ham & cheese sandwich, apple slices & yogurt dip

Wednesday: Hungry Howie's Pizza- cheese pizza & Go-Gurt

Thursday: Chick-fil-A- chicken nuggets, a roll & fruit

Friday: Hungry Howie's Pizza- cheese pizza & a cookie
