Mission Auction
YEW (Youth Encounter Week)
Our annual Mission Auction is held each April and a large portion of mission efforts supported by Covenant will be funded from this year's auction including local mission projects (Habitat for Humanity, House of Ruth, Wiregrass Area Food Banks, Dothan Rescue Mission and backpacks for Faine Elementary, among others), our annual Panama Medical Mission Trip and our Youth Summer Mission Trips.
This event provides the youth mission teams of Covenant the opportunity to serve in various locations including, but not limited to, Panama, Costa Rica, and in cities throughout the southeastern United States (Macon, Georgia; Lexington, Kentucky; Deland, Florida; Wingate, North Carolina and Cleveland, Tennessee). This year we need your help again to not only ensure these trips continue, but that our church-wide mission efforts will continue as well.
YEW is our annual summer kick-off week packed with daily community service projects, an amazing speaker and talented worship band. Each night provides for great food, an awesome worship experience and culminates with wild and crazy games of all sorts. We will celebrate the end of our week together with a trip to "Destination X". Only we know where we're headed, but rest assured you will NOT be disappointed.

Our summers would not be complete without our Summer Mission Trips. Since 2002 our Student Mission Teams have served in Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia, as well as in Panama and Costa Rica- who knows where we'll go next. Separate trips are scheduled for our Senior High and Junior High students each year and usually occur sometime in June and July.
2011 Summer Mission Camp Opportunities

Breakthru is a four-day experience held December 28-December 31 of each year that provides youth with an incredible opportunity to "breakthrough" to a new level in their Christian lives as they explore what it means to follow Christ in all that they do. The retreat takes place in Springville, Alabama at the Springville Camp and Conference Center which is complimented by God's amazing creations of stunning trees, hidden streams, walking trails and a beautiful lake.
There is never a dull moment as Breakthru is full of lots of crazy games, great bible study time with youth from other churches, incredible worship lead and challenging messages. It is the perfect place for youth to explore their faith and relationship with God and Christ, while also getting a chance to meet new friends and renew old friendships.
