Student Ministry Serving Opportunities

To reach believing and non-believing youth and their families, connect them with other Christians and help them grow in their faith and relationship wtih Christ, all the while challenging them to discover their individual gifts and honor God with their lives.

Student Ministry: Small Group Facilitators
Adults are needed to lead groups on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am and during the week on Wednesdays at 6 pm. Materials are provided. The Sunday morning groups are divided into Jr. High and Sr. High. The Wednesday evening groups are divided by grades and are gender specific.The main purpose is to build relationships with the students, teach them God's truth through His word and engage the students in discussion on relevant teen topics while providing a biblical perspective based on God's word.

Student Ministry: Special Events
Chaperones and Leaders are needed for the special events we provide. These events are held annually. Our Girls's Conference is a 2 day event (Friday evening - Saturday afternoon). Girls from other church join us as we focus on a specific theme. Guest speakers, crafts, meals, music and other activities are scheduled during the conference. Senior Recognition is the day we recognize those students who are graduating from high school. Students wear their cap and gown to worship and are recognized during the service. A meal is provided for the student and their families following the worship service. Volunteers are needed to decorate, setup, serve the meal, and cleanup. Youth Encounter Week (YEW) is an on-site spiritual growth and welcome event and is filled with community service projects, worship and games. Community Service Projects are scheduled during the day and then the students meet back in the evening for worship, fellowship, and games. A special guest speaker and worship leader are normally scheduled. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, assist with food preparation (lunch and dinner), chaperone students during daily community service projects, lead a small group, and/or share and interact with the students. Guy's Retreat are off campus and chaperones are needed to travel, lead small group, and share and interact with the students.

Student Ministry: Fountain Worship Minion
Fountain Worship is on Sunday evenings at 5 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The youth praise band leads the worship service and a devotion is provided. Adults are needed to serve as chaperones on various trips taken by the students during the year. Destinations could include: local outings, lake trips, white-water rafting trips, ski trips, beach trips, or somewhere in the Southeast.

Student Ministry: Worship Team
The worship team is responsible for Fountain Worship on Sunday evenings. Persons are needed to help organize the praise band, prepare and/or perform drama skits, and operate audio-visual equipment.

Student Ministry: Support
Assist the student ministry with tasks including running errands, data entry, bulk mailings, and telephone calls. Help is also needed to organize, prepare and serve food to students during various events throughout the year. Persons who like to decorate or create crafts are needed for special events.
