Schedule Your Wedding DateWeddings at Covenant
We invite you to be married at Covenant. We believe that a wedding is a religious service and a worship experience, involving family and friends who want to participate in your joy. It is the Christian celebration of your love and commitment to each other and to God.

Please contact the Church Administrator to reserve a wedding date. Members may schedule weddings up to 12 months in advance; Non-members may schedule 9 months in advance. Ceremonies and rehearsals must begin no later than 6 pm. Rehearsals are generally scheduled for the evening before the wedding. One hour is allocated, and it is essential that you begin and end promptly.

Wedding Contract Form
Once a date is chosen a Wedding Contract Form must be completed and returned to the Church Administrator in order to reserve a wedding date.

Weddings at Covenant Pastors
The pastors at Covenant normally officiate at weddings. Guest clergy may assist with the approval of the Senior Pastor. A pastor will be assigned depending on the date of the wedding. A particular pastor may be requested; however there is no guarantee the pastor will be available on the date of the wedding.

Premarital Counseling
Prior to being married at Covenant, couples are required to complete premarital conferences with the Pastor.

Wedding Music
The Wedding is a service of worship. All music played or sung during the wedding should express a Christian message appropriate to the occasion. Secular music may not be permitted. The Director of Music Ministries will have final approval of all music during the wedding ceremony. Approval must be obtained before the printing of any programs.

Wedding Coordinator
A Wedding Coordinator is required for all weddings and receptions held at Covenant, and one will be appointed by the church to assist you in the planning of this important day. The coordinator represents the church in managing all logistics for your wedding. Outside wedding planners may be used but do not take the place of our wedding coordinator. The outside wedding planner must work closely with Covenant's coordinator. Covenant's coordinator must be consulted regarding the use of any part of the buildings, services of the custodians, caterers, etc. and will have final approval in all decisions.

Photography and Videography
Covenant encourages the bridal couple to employ a professional photographer for the wedding. No flash photography is permitted after the processional of the bridal party begins. Video taping is permitted from the balcony, from the back of the sanctuary, and from the north side of the choir loft.

Flowers and Decorations
The couple is responsible for wedding decorations. No tacks, nails, pins, screws, wire, clamps, or tape may be used to secure decorations. Spreading flower petals in the aisle will not be permitted. Dripless candles may be used, but floors and furniture must be protected. All decorations must be removed immediately following the service.
